"When I lived in Paris I took a lot of picture as part of my job, but very few on my spare time. Even less Street photos in Paris. #boring. But never say never... Once in a while I would take my camera with me. I did very few shots, I edited even less of them. But I like this one very much. It gives me a precise feeling of attraction-repulsion, a perfect condensed picture to illustrate the effect that a megalopolis such as Paris has on me.
Paris but it could be in Berlin, London, New York, Bangkok or Rio. Anonymous and endless hideout on the one hand, overwhelming concrete jail on the other. All polarized. It is fascinating how we build frightening yet endearing cities that looks gorgeous and creepy at the same time.
